vServer (virtual server) product is a service operated above enterprise blade server (CISCO UCS (externí odkaz)), on which a server virtualization layer is run (VMware Hypervisor ESXi (externí odkaz)) that enables abstraction, flexibility and partitioning (externí odkaz) of the server performance.
Products of the vServer type are defined by number of virtual processors (vServer::vCPU) and size of available RAM memory. Parameter vCPU is a virtual processor run on one core of a physical processor and maximal output of 1GHz. Second parameter is the capacity of RAM memory, which is indicated in GB. Within the price per vServer product there are up to 4 virtual network cards (vServer::vNIC) included.
vServer product can be visualized as a no-disk server to which it is possible to connect virtual disks (vStorage::vDisk) ordered by customer as another products. vServers defined like this are connected to virtual networks vNetwork::vLAN defined by customer.
